Victoria Institution (Malay: Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Victoria) is
a premier secondary school for boys (and girls for Form 6) and one of
the oldest schools in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The school is widely known
as V.I. and a student of Victoria Institution bears the name Victorian.
In the 1880s, Raffles Institution in Singapore flourished as an outstanding school. Some prominent community leaders, including the Kapitan Cina (Chinese Captain) of Kuala Lumpur, Yap Kwan Seng, Towkay Loke Yew, and Thamboosamy Pillay, saw the need for a good English school in Kuala Lumpur. With the support of the British Resident
of Selangor, the foundation stone of the Victoria Institution was laid
in 1893. The school opened in July 1894. The name of the school
commemorates the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
A very famous landmark in Kuala
Lumpur, V.I. a boys school was a Japanese base during the occupation of
Malaysia. Many British soldiers and locals were brutally tortured to
death in the basement and some of the older buildings on the campus. It
is said that not only are apparitions common in the day as well as the
night, there have been many cases of spirits possessing students. The
possessed boys would behave strangely, even violently, harming other
students and teachers only to snap out of it a few hours later and
remember nothing, even when they were forcibly restrained, their
bruises would disappear when they returned to normal.

Aeroplane Bungalow (Mona Fendy’s house)
Behind Leisure Point, Cheras
For those who don’t know, Mona Fandey was a popular bomoh back in the 90′s, and reportedly used black arts to help many politicians achieve power. She was executed in 2001 for murdering politician Mazlan Idris in 1993 while conducting a ceremony to invest him with power. It’s reported that Mona, along with her husband, had Mazlan lie down while they conducted a ceremony, before dismembering and partially skinning Mazlan. At her execution, she claimed “I will never die,” and her house is supposedly haunted due to the black arts she practices there..

Pudu Prison HaUnteD????
There are rumours that Pudu Prison is haunted. There have been reports of a strange Indian man walking the halls of the prison and disappearing around the corner. Screams have been heard from rooms where hangings have taken place, and there are certain areas of the prison that are far colder than others. Russell Lee, the author of the book series True Singapore Ghost Stories included a story of a prisoner in Pudu Prison in one of his books. The prisoner reported hearing screaming from the rotan caning area, and he also heard the story that one prisoner committed suicide in order to avoid being caned. Supposedly his ghost stops the last stroke of the cane being given, and the prisoner personally reported this experience happening to him. According to several websites, the reason that Pudu Prison is being turned back into a prison for low-security prisoners is because no-one would buy it as for commercial property because of the hauntings.

As they were traveling along the lonely stretch of Karak Highway, suddenly, the car gave a sudden jerk and started making weird noises. The husband was fairly surprised because he remembered to check the car before traveling long distance to ensure the safety of his family. Soon, they had no choice but to stop by the roadside. The husband got out of the car to check the car engine while his wife and baby was waiting in the car. After a few minutes, he came back and reported that he could not see anything wrong and tried starting the car again. However, the car just would not budge. At loss, the husband made a difficult decision to either wait until another car comes along or walk to the nearest phone booth.
Not wanting to leave his family behind, they waited. After some 20 minutes or so, the highway remained quiet. The husband wondered why was there such calamity on the highway when festive celebrations are just around the corner. Perhaps it was due to the late night, he thought to himself. After what seemed like eternity, the husband decided to take the second option.
Advising his wife to lock the doors and take care, he left them behind with a heavy heart. His wife, on the other hand, watched her husband walk away with worries on her mind. She prayed hard that someone would eventually notice their stalled car and offer help. She was also worried that accidents might happen.
Hours passed by and soon she started getting even more worried. She was worried something might happen to her husband.
Suddenly she saw flashes of blue and red lights. It was coming from a patrol car. Through the rear view mirror she could see a policeman getting out of the car and towards her vehicle. They asked her to step out of the vehicle quietly, and don't look around while she did so.
She got out of the car and walked towards the police car with the man. When she was at a safe distance, she finally looked back towards her car to see the bodiless head of her husband on top of her car. Apparently it had been banged against the roof of her car but she did not notice.
